Our blue Weimaraner is 12 years old and really starting to act his age. He was diagnosed with dementia recently and it is a huge problem at night trying to accommodate his nighttime confusion. We're just trying to make him as comfortable as possible for as long as possible. The things you cannot see when the trees are full of leaves, can scare you when the trees are bare... This is a HUGE (18" T) wasp nest on a well marked nature trail.. These trees immediately reminded me of a Greek myth I had read a long time ago.. I couldn't remember the name of the story but I knew it was about a old married couple who were turned into entwined trees when they died. When I got home and was reviewing my shots from the day, I looked up the story... My first baby is having her first baby! We ventured out to Back Bay yesterday to take some photos of my daughter and her hubby and while the park was almost empty, it was a very, 46 degree and windy shoot.... so it was a quick one!
