So I needed (read wanted) more indoor plants and I've been looking for a unique, local place to shop for a while when I read about @plantbarvb ... they didn't disappoint! I think it's the only store of its kind in the area and I for one am happy they're here! I got lots of help choosing my plants and when you buy a pot they transplant your plant into it too! Ahh, the new laundry room door has been installed & painted, one more item checked off of the list! The obscure glass allows the light from the window to filter beautifully into the kitchen, but you only have a hint of what's behind the door. Hiking and waterfalls for Christmas is my kind of vacation! We decided to spend Christmas week in Asheville, NC this year, with our 3 girls and son-in-law, so much fun and without the usual gift giving stress. We're getting closer to being done renovating the laundry room! The sink, faucet and drying rack installed...still need to make and install cabinets for the other side of the room, but that will be an after Christmas project for sure! We're grouting the penny tile we just installed as a full height backsplash in our laundry room. Not only am I super happy with the tile but the price at $3.99/sq. ft. was great too!
