Happy Sunday!
I’m super excited to tell you all about a new venture for me, I now have a “home” for some of my finished pieces! That’s right, I’ll be in a new store located in the hip shopping & dining district of Carytown in Richmond, VA. The store is named “Orange” and is located at 3007 West Cary street, right across the street from the Mellow Mushroom (fabulous pizza & beer) and next door to World of Mirth. The store is a 1,300 sq. foot space which showcases items from local artists including furniture, lighting, pillows, candles, etc., a fabulous business model if I do say so myself! It just opened in May but Orange already has 16 local artisans on board!
So I’m completely flattered to be included with the other talented artisans and I hope that you will come to Carytown and check out the store! There are plenty of restaurants to visit, so come make an afternoon of it!
Here are a few pictures of just some of the goods you might find at Orange!
FABULOUS funky pillows
Great furniture, lighting, accessories and artwork!
More furniture, candles and pillows!
I just dropped of a few pieces yesterday and was thrilled to see how busy Carytown was and how much traffic the store was getting. If you’re able to please stop by check out Orange, I’m sure you’ll find something fabulous for your home or a unique gift for someone special!
Have a great Sunday!

Thanks Kippy 🙂 the store is set up great, not with vignettes but setup with all of the different artisans pieces staged wherever they fit best. It’s a cool store that I hope does well!

Thanks so much! This is why this store is great for me because I only have a few pieces there at a time and I don’t need to stage anything or have “filler” pieces as everything is staged about as one store. I’m hoping it works out!

LOL! I think this will work for me based on the way she has it all setup as one space, versus a space for each person. It looks very cohesive and doesn’t require me to stage or have staging pieces… I’m keeping my fingers crossed!

Hi Susan, The setee is fabulous, don’t think I could do that. Wishing you great success at Orange. Next time I go through Richmond, I’ll try to stop by, depends on who is with me, if you know what I mean. Anyway, all the best.
