Ok, so this one doesn’t look too bad as is… but to me it just kind of lacks pizzazz. It also needed some drawer repairs but other than that was in very good shape and therefor a quick makeover!
BEFORE
How Sweet… AFTER
I repainted the outer cabinet in Old White and the drawers in Antoinette Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. I lightly distressed, waxed and buffed the piece as well, it has such pretty, clean lines!
Perfect original handles under all of that white paint…
I soaked them in ammonia overnight to remove the layers of paint, this is the finish that was under all of that!
I think this is a super cute chest now… well I guess I thought it was cute before too… but I like it better now
Hope you liked my little pink and white chest makeover! It’s heading up to the Lucketts Spring Market with me!
Thanks for stopping by!
I love it! Those handles are so interesting.

Thanks Susan! The handles are pressed metal of some sort, very thin but I love them!

Just beautiful – love the original hardware!!!
I’m sure it’ll be gone before you know it!
( although for some reason I’m never lucky with pink – have no idea why )

Thanks Suzan… I’m not very lucky with pink either, but that is what I wanted to paint this so… I’m willing to chance it!
